Pastel on Colourfix. 30cms x 23cms (12" x 9").In the States they refer to it as 'the backyard', to us in the UK it's the back garden. I have tried to capture the warmth and brilliant sunlight of an autumn afternoon in South Carolina in this plein air painting. (Mind you, I kept a watchful eye out for the alligators while I was painting!)
